The Meaning of the Word in Linguistic Use

Abstract

The word is one of the basic components of writing, with its linguistic, moral and structural connotations, and it is the nucleus on which the expression of thought is built. We know that troubled expression is nothing but a product of troubled thought, as there is a great relationship between language and thought.

For a word or a group of words to lead to the intended goal, this cannot be achieved unless the word is used in its appropriate place, and this is also not possible without understanding the intangible connotations of the word intellectually and mentally, and then formulating it in the external expression. Choosing the right word in the right place leads to speedy understanding and conveying the idea.

In order to start talking about the subject, we should stand on the definition of the word and its meaning... The word is a gender under which there are three types: (noun, verb, and letters). It is possible to express different ideas and their implications. We will also discuss the phenomenon of verbal synonymy due to its prevalence in the words of the Arabic language. Let us show that no matter how common the synonymous words are in the general meaning, there is a subtle difference between them in part of the meaning.

In the research, we also dealt with words in that they are like living organisms that grow, grow, and merge with foreign words from other languages that they take from them to coexist with and fuse with, just as they disappear and generate alternative words for them. So, in the research, we dealt with pre-Islamic and Islamic Arabic words, non-Arabic words, and foreign words to Arabic, such as Persian, Roman, Hindi, etc., and we also dealt with general and vulgar vulgar words. The accurate writer is the one who investigates the full accuracy in choosing the words to convey the meaning that he seeks and thinks about.
