This study aims to explore the impact of adopting digital training as a sustainable practice, instead of traditional paper-based training, on both employee engagement and the institutional reputation of educational institutions. The study was conducted on a random sample of 150 to 200 employees at an Iraqi university, using a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through a validated questionnaire that included three main dimensions: the level of digital training implementation, the degree of employee engagement, and the perceived institutional reputation. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software. The results revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between the use of digital training and higher levels of employee engagement, in addition to a noticeable improvement in institutional reputation from the participants' perspective.
These findings underscore the importance of adopting digital strategies in human resource management, not only for environmental and economic objectives, but also for their role in enhancing job satisfaction and engagement. The study recommends investing in digital infrastructure and intensifying employee training programs on e-learning technologies to achieve effective and impactful organizational sustainability.
