The Relationship between Cyber Warfare Digital Media and the Repercussions of Satellite Channels Performance among Students

Abstract

Objectives: The aim of the research is to identify cyber warfare among students of the College of Media, The significance of statistical differences in cyber warfare and digital media according to the variable (gender-stage), the significance of the differences in the relational relationship between cyber warfare and digital media among students.

Methodology: The researcher followed the descriptive approach to suit the research variables, the scale was applied to a sample of (400) university students, (140) males and (260) females for the academic year 2024-2025, in addition to preparing the Cyber Warfare Scale with accreditation based on previous studies and different scales, the scale consists of (20) paragraphs, a digital media scale consisting of (27) paragraphs was also prepared.

Results: The research reached important results, including that students have an awareness of cyber warfare, we did not record any statistically significant differences in cyber warfare according to the variable (gender), or (stage), and that students of the College of Media use digital media, there are statistically significant differences in digital media depending on the variable (gender) and in favor of males, there is also a positive correlation between cyber warfare and digital media among students.

Conclusion: The study emphasizes the importance of digital media in shaping media students awareness of cyber warfare it reveals a significant correlation between cyber perception and media use. There is also a need to develop university curricula to enhance student readiness to face contemporary digital and security challenges.
