The Effectiveness of Organic Waste to Achieve Sustainability in Ceramic Works

Abstract

Scientific techniques have developed in several fields of life, including art, which is an important element influencing movement of modern art, and that changing artist’s point of view and to be linked to including sustainability in art and living in balance with the environment. This study focuses on waste of all kinds, which can be divided into direct and indirect waste. In additions its opened different horizons for postmodern artist. To knowledge what others do not see, the introduction and circulation of everything that is modern, as an artistic innovation to employ and waste. Hence the question of the research to what extent unitizing organic waste in ceramic art to achieve sustainability, using a descriptive approach and an experimental approach by describing the works of artists applied different wastes. The recommendations and results were summarized on the importance of ceramic art's connection with the environment and the extent to which it is easily compatible with the sustainability outcomes in ceramic art.
