The Role of the Modernity of Financial Information Technology and Extent the Effectiveness of Financial Inclusion in light of the Impact of the Corona pandemic Research in Iraqi Bank
Abstract
Financial information technology is no longer a support function within banking institutions only, it has become a fundamental enabler of business strategies, including how to reach customers and meet their needs, and interest has increased in promoting and producing the service industry and the transition of a large number of banks and financial institutions to the use of modern technologies in providing various financial services and completing transactions electronically, Therefore, the problem of our research lies inThe emergence of the Corona pandemic and the closure and isolation caused by this pandemic, as well as thethe lack of cultural awareness among members of the Iraqi society and the lack of confidence and security in the ease of use and response to banking services as a result of the conditions that the country has gone through, Have banks achieved their ability to provide financial services as required during the Corona pandemic? Therefore, the research aims to demonstrate the role of financial technologies in achieving the effectiveness of financial inclusion for banks during the Corona pandemic, which society and the world have been coexisting with since 2019. The challenges and difficulties that banking institutions faced them created equality or lack thereof in the opportunities to benefit from the structure and digital development in order to enable the society as a whole to obtain financial services and achieve a sustainable economic growth. To achieve the goal of the research, it was applied to a number of banks installed in the (Iraq Stock Exchange) on a community of (140) employees. By using the descriptive and analytical approach with a simple random sample of (91) employees, and the tool used in collecting research data (the questionnaire) and analyzing it statistically. Use the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS - Ver - 19) and (Microsoft Excel), Statistical methods (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, f-test, regression coefficient B, coefficient of determination R²), The research reached several conclusions, the most important of which is the presence of statistically significant differences between Iraqi banks the research sample in providing digital financial services during the Corona virus pandemic, As this crisis made it possible to take advantage of opportunities to expand the effectiveness of financial inclusion for banks through the use of financial technology techniques .
